is Lakewood Rides?
Lakewood Rides
is a door-to-door transportation service for Lakewood residents
who are age 60 and older or those who have disabilities (any age).
All minibuses used in the service are wheelchair accessible. Trips
are prioritized by purpose and requests are filled on a first
come, first served basis.
When
can I use Lakewood Rides?
Lakewood Rides operates Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

How
do I get a ride?

fill in the attached form, return email or print and fax to
Transportation at 303-987-4841. After you have completed the application you will need to call Lakewood Rides for availability and to schedule your ride. There may be a waiting list, so call as soon as you know when you need a ride.
What
information should I have?
To schedule a ride, the dispatcher will ask you:
- Name
- Address
- Telephone number
- Day/date of your trip
- Address of your destination
Do
I need to register?
Yes. You will be contacted for additional information, such as
emergency contact numbers, date of birth, and type of disability.

does the service cost?
Costs are determined by the distance of the trip.
Group trips:
