The activities of Housing Development are designed to expand the number of affordable housing units, provide rehabilitation programs for existing housing and assist lower-income, first-time home buyers to purchase affordable homes. A major goal of the Housing Authority and the City is to preserve and add to the affordable housing stock in Lakewood through new developments, acquisitions and partnerships.
