Celebrate Lakewood’s agricultural heritage with an entertaining mix of live performances, activities and tasty harvest treats. Cider Days offers fun and excitement for the entire family! This year’s event will again include tractor pulls and vintage power displays, wagon and barrel train rides along with other children’s activities, historic demonstrations as well as a unique variety of exhibitors and vendors. A Cider Days festival wouldn’t be complete without everything apple – including apple pressing, apple cider by the glass or gallon, an apple bake-off and more. Cider Days hosts the same great experience either Saturday or Sunday (Oct. 1 and 2), and your admission covers all activities and entertainment.

The City of Lakewood has recently launched a new process to update the Master Plan for the Lakewood Heritage Center. The Lakewood Heritage Center belongs to the residents of Lakewood, and engaging the community in discussions about the City's history and the role of the Heritage Center in the community is a critical component to this planning process. Stop by the Lakewood Heritage Center any time during 10 a.m. to noon to learn more about what updating the Master Plan means, and how you can provide valuable input.
There is a second open house this day from 7-9 p.m.
