UPDATE/CHANGE MY BUSINESS INFORMATION

Changes to your license account must be made in writing.  There are three methods to notify the City of these changes:

 

  1. Create a user login on Lakewood Business Pro to manage your account at any time.
     
  2. Document your business changes of your City of Lakewood sales tax return.
     
  3. Submit a change request to the City of Lakewood by written notice.

 


**Please note:  Changes affecting your Federal Employee Identification Number (FEIN) require a new license.**

If your business is relocating within Lakewood, the Zoning Department must be notified before you move to ensure the new location is zoned properly for your business activity.

CLOSE OR SELL MY BUSINESS

If you close or sell your business, you must notify the Revenue Division in writing so your account can be terminated. The City of Lakewood Sales and/or Use Tax license is non-transferable.
