Charles Whitlock Recreation Center
will re-open the pool and locker rooms on Wednesday, August 27. All
Aquatic programs will resume on Tuesday, September 2. Some of the work
completed includes new tile throughout the
locker room, installation of waterproofing system for all wet areas, new
lighting in the pool area and the installation of a UV filter to reduce the

A family-oriented warm water leisure pool that features an exciting pirate ship play area complete with water cannons and slides, along with a second full-size water slide. The pool is divided so younger kids can enjoy the pirate ship away from the deeper water. The facility offers swimming lessons and aquatic fitness and can be rented for birthday parties. The typical water temperature is 90 and 92 degrees.
