Whole Foods Market at Belmar is holding a Community Gives Day to benefit the Lakewood Legacy Foundation on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. 5% of gross sales on April 24 will be used to benefit the creation of a garden at O'Kane Park.
Staff from the City's Urban Parks Division will be onsite at Whole Foods from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on April 24 to talk to customers, answer general horticulture questions and hand out seed packets.

Park Shelter Rental Information
Shelter #1 is located near the west end of the park by the playground and has 10 tables and two grills and accommodates 100 people.
Shelter #2 is located near the east of the park by the pond and has 10 tables and two grills and accommodates 100 people.
Permanent restrooms are located near Shelter #1 and are open approximately April 19 - October 15 weather permitting.
Rental Fees and Reservation Instructions
Add $25 for Non-Resident Fee
Monday - Thursday $150
Friday - Sunday (and City Holiday's): $180
Reservations can be made over the phone (if paying with MasterCard, Visa or Discover) at 303-987-7800 or in person Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm at 480 S. Allison Pkwy. (Wadsworth & Alameda). All shelter rentals are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rules and Regulations
Prohibited Activities
- Consumption of alcohol (other than beer) without an Alcohol Permit
- Glass beverage containers
- Dunk tanks, jumping castles or similar items
- Portable toilets
Cancellation Policy
No refunds will be made for cancellations received less than two weeks prior to a scheduled event, Cancellations received two or more weeks prior to an event will forfeit a service charge in the amount of $20.00.
Inclement Weather Policy
A cancellation due to possible inclement weather must be received by midnight of the day before the scheduled event. Please call 303-987-7800 to cancel.
