Group Grocery Shopping

Group grocery shopping trips are offered each week. Citizens are picked up in their area on a designated day of the week and taken to the local King Soopers.

Fares:

• $1.50 each way ($3 round trip).
 

Nutrition Trips

Lakewood Rides also provides group trips for the Volunteers of America dining site located at the Clements Community Center. Join us for lunch.

Fares:

• There is no fare charged, however contributions are always welcome.

Demand/Response Transportation

These are independently scheduled trips for medical appointments, employment, adult day programs, social visits, and personal needs. These trips are individually scheduled and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fares:

• $3 each way ($6 round trip) when your destination is within the Lakewood city limits.
• $4 each way ($8 round trip) when your destination is outside the Lakewood city limits.

Destination Boundaries

Lakewood Rides is only available to Lakewood residents; however, your destination can be outside the city. The destination boundaries for all trips are as follows:

• North to 49th Avenue
• South to Quincy Avenue
• East to University Blvd/York Street
• West into Golden
