The Lakewood Heritage Center is once again to host  Rockin’ Block Party, on Sat, June 14, starting at 10 a.m. A free, fun-filled evening full of games, live music and a movie under the stars preceded by an afternoon of valuing your antiques and keepsakes and honoring our military’s history. 

The full day’s schedule is:

 

10 a.m.-3 p.m. What’s It Worth hosted by the Lakewood Historical Society  
1-6 p.m. Rollin’ with the Troops  
5-7 p.m. FREE museum tours  
5 p.m. Drive A Marshmallow contest (using a toy golf club, longest drive wins)  
5:30 p.m. Potato Sack Race (teams of 2)  
6 p.m. Hula Hoop contest  
6:30 p.m. Water Balloon Toss contest (teams of 2)  
7:30 p.m. Boogie Machine  
9 p.m. Back to the Future (PG)  
  FREE popcorn provided by Foothills Credit Union

Concert & Movie Reminders

  • There is no structured seating available, feel free to bring your own chair or blanket.
  • To facilitate viewing by all patrons, a limited seating area will be available for chairs with the top of the back of the chair measuring more than 32” from the ground and/or chairs with legs measuring over 5”.
  • Affordable food options, including water and soft drinks, will be available for purchase, or feel free to bring your own picnic.
  • Beer and wine will be available for purchase and may not be brought into the concert venue.
  • No pets, glass containers, skateboards or bicycles allowed in the gated area.
  • Smoking and vaping, which is the use of e-cigarettes and similar vapor-producing devices, are prohibited.
  • Programs subject to change.
