Today, people often communicate via cellphones and computers. News is accessed from phones, tablets and car radios. Return to the beginning of news in Lakewood, a time of switchboards and typewriters, party line phones and floor model radios. Try out some old and new technology while learning about local newspapers, radio and television stations.

Jefferson Foundation Middle School Art Exhibit

Lakewood Cultural Center is pleased to host the Jefferson County Middle School Art Exhibit sponsored by the Jefferson Foundation. This exhibit showcases the most outstanding student work, conveying the artistic skill, quality of design and higher-level thinking of local middle school students.
