The City of Lakewood, Colorado will receive sealed Bids for the Mountair & Molholm Parks Site improvements
until 10:00 A.M. Mountain Time on October 14, 2014, at the City Finance Department front desk, Lakewood
Civic Center South Building at 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226, at which time they shall be opened in the Finance Conference Room and read aloud.
Bids not prepared and filed in accordance with SECTION 00100 - INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS will not be
accepted. However, the City of Lakewood reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any
irregularities or informalities, not required by law, in the bidding process or in any bids, as may be deemed by
the City to be in its best interest.
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
This project is to construct minor site improvements at Mountair Park, 5620 W 14th Ave and Molholm Park at
960 Jay St. Mountair improvements include construction of a concrete sport court (3,520 SF), installation of
concrete flatwork (3,000 SF) fabricating and installing two port-a-let enclosures, and supplying and installing a prefabricated picnic shelter with grills. Molholm improvements include constructing a play area with a two seat swing set, and minor concrete repair. FEDERAL FUNDS WILL BE USED ON THIS PROJECT.
Project is to be completed within ninety(90) calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed.
