Notice is hereby given that the City of Lakewood, Colorado will receive sealed Proposals for RFP #3743 for: CUSTODIAL SERVICES AT THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD'S FOUR (4) RECREATION CENTERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY SPECIFICATIONS. 
RFP submittals will be received at the Finance Department Front Desk, 1st Floor, Civic Center South, 480 S. Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226 until 10:00 A.M. M.T (our clock) on November 13, 2014. Submittals will not be accepted after the specified hour and date.  
Interested companies may schedule a walk-through of the Recreation Centers by contacting Mary O'Halloran, Contract Administrator at maroha@lakewood.org or 303-987-7675. Walk-throughs will be scheduled for Monday through Thursday during the hours of 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Only companies that schedule a date/time will be permitted to do a facility walkthrough. Facility Coordinators at the respective Recreation Center will be notified of the schedule time.
Persons having questions concerning the RFP will contact Mary O'Halloran, Contract Administrator at email: maroha@lakewood.org. All questions must be received in writing no later than 5:00 P.M. M.T. on November 5, 2014.

Notice is hereby given that the Lakewood Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing at 7 p.m., Wednesday November 5, 2014 in City Council Chambers, Civic Center South, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado.  The Planning Commission will consider the application from Kathleen E. Hodgson, City Manager for the City of Lakewood, Case No. PL-14-001, regarding the 2014 Three-Mile Plan for the City of Lakewood for the unincorporated area three miles in width around the City’s perimeter, as required by and in conformance with Section 31-12-105(1)(e) of the Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.).

CITY OF LAKEWOOD
NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON November 4, 2014, the City of Lakewood will hold a special election to be held as a coordinated election in conjunction with Jefferson County, for the purpose of voting on ballot question 2A. The election will be conducted as a mail ballot election. A ballot drop-off box will be available at the City Clerk’s Office, 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado, for those wishing to drop off their ballots rather than mail their ballots to Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder’s Office. The ballot box will be available in the City Clerk’s Office Monday thru Friday starting October 14, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Saturday November 1st from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Eligibility to register to vote in the City of Lakewood: persons must be a citizen of the United States; 18 years of age; and a resident of the City of Lakewood for at least 22 days prior to election date. For further information, contact the Lakewood City Clerk’s Office at 303-987-7080.
