Lakewood Board and Commission Openings

Boards & Commissions Vacancies
Get involved with your City government and
help shape Lakewood's future.

Applicants must be a resident of Lakewood,and in some instances, reside in a specific ward of the City. A person may sit on only one board or commission at any given time.

Applications are accepted year-round for all boards and commissions (a position need not be open to submit an application). Interviews are held throughout the year on an as-needed basis.

Applications are being accepted for the Housing Authority At-Large position (the current applicant is on his first term). Also, the Lakewood Victims Assistance Compensation Board has one opening for a Lakewood Resident. The deadline for filing an application for these positions is August 29.
